I can't believe it's not Turkey!

To quote Van Morrison
My mama told me there'd be days like this.
It's amazing what a bit of sunshine can do to the mood of a nation. Our government must be praying for this mini heatwave to continue as we are all in a great mood.
"Recession? What recession? Of course you can bring in the Croke Park 2 agreement. I'll just be out at the beach."
Things to be thankful for today........
  •  Roxy managed to go topless for the first time this year (and possibly last year too)!

  • Kids were in top form in school, so no dramas.
  • I located my garden table and chairs in the dark, cobwebbed recess of my shed. After a scrub down they were ready for action. I'm not the world's best cook but by God my dinner tasted fabulous al fresco.

  • Then I got a call from my principal saying that after 15 years our school has been given the go ahead to start on our new building. No more teaching in substandard conditions. HAPPY DAYS!

I haven't felt this happy and content since Turkey at Easter.....and what's more there is no fear of any riots in Raharney!
